Christmas craft fair boost

Menphys supporter Jeremy Vick entertains the bargain-hunters
About £400 was raised as a result of the Christmas craft market organised at Age Concern Oadby and Wigston, on Saturday, November 26, by Linda and Bill Boulter, for Menphys and the Meningitis Trust.
With more than a dozen stalls selling a wide range of products, the scores of visitors had plenty to choose from. There were soaps, Usborne Books, plants, cakes, bric-a-brac and alarm clocks which call your name to wake you.
And throughout it all, talented keyboard-player and composer Jeremy Vick played carols and other music. He sold a number of his CDs, with profits going to Menphys.
A good afternoon was had by all with Menphys giving thanks to many people, including Jeremy, Linda and Bill and to Edna, who ran a very profitable raffle.
