ABOUT MENPHYS

Caring for local children and young people with disabilities...supporting the family.

Menphys, as its name implies, was founded to serve children and young people with mental and physical disabilities and to support their families. Menphys is committed to equal opportunities and seeks to support children and their families in the following ways:

• Specialist nursery places at Wigston and Burbage.
• Specialist autism provision at the nursery at Wigston.
• The Special Outreach Service – serving the City and County.
• Two Saturday Morning Clubs offering respite care in conjunction with The Menphys Sport, Play and Leisure.

Both the City and County Councils have recognised the high professional standards set by Menphys and work in partnership with the charity.
